Job Title: RecruiterJob Description

This role serves as a strategic recruiting partner to hiring managers and business leaders, managing the full hiring lifecycle from sourcing through offer acceptance. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand role requirements and ideal candidate profiles, build and maintain a diverse pipeline of global talent, and leverage data and recruiting metrics to continuously improve processes. The position requires experience supporting international hiring and the ability to work hours aligned with New Zealand operations.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic hiring expert and partner to hiring managers and business unit leaders, providing guidance on recruiting strategies and market insights.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define requirements and expectations for open positions, including the skills, experience, and qualities of the ideal candidate.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial sourcing and screening through interview coordination, candidate management, and extending offers.
  • Screen candidates for open roles, assess qualifications and fit, and guide them through each stage of the interview process.
  • Build and maintain a diverse pipeline of talent, including passive candidates, through sourcing, cold calling, phone screens, and networking activities.
  • Leverage the applicant tracking system (ATS), specifically Greenhouse, to track candidates, build reports, and analyze key metrics related to recruiting activities.
  • Use data and insights from ATS reporting to identify trends and drive continuous improvements in recruiting processes and candidate experience.
  • Support global recruiting efforts, ensuring alignment with regional needs and adapting sourcing strategies to different markets.
  • Collaborate with high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities as needed to meet hiring goals and timelines.
  • Communicate effectively with hiring managers at all levels, candidates, and external partners to ensure a transparent and engaging recruitment experience.
  • Source and recruit for highly technical and niche roles, including high-volume nonexempt positions and engineering roles such as production, manufacturing, test, mechanical, electrical, systems, and propulsion.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, including the ability to work late when needed to support global teams and time zone differences.
Essential Skills
  • 2 to 5 years of full-time, full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong track record of managing end-to-end hiring processes.
  • Experience in aviation recruiting or recruiting for aviation-related roles, with veteran or active duty recruiting experience considered highly relevant.
  • Global recruiting experience, including sourcing and hiring candidates across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS), specifically Greenhouse, to manage candidates, build reports, and analyze recruiting metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to build diverse talent pipelines through sourcing, cold calling, phone screens, and networking.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence hiring managers, candidates, and external partners.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player and collaborate with high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and ability to work New Zealand-aligned hours, including late hours as needed to support that team.
  • Comfort guiding candidates through interview processes and representing the organization professionally throughout the hiring lifecycle.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • For Talent Acquisition Partner II level: at least 2 years of full-time, full-cycle recruiting experience with global recruiting exposure.
  • For Senior Talent Acquisition Partner I level: at least 5 years of full-time, full-cycle recruiting experience with global recruiting exposure.
  • 8+ years of full-time recruiting experience preferred for more Senior-level consideration.
  • Agency and in-house recruiting experience, providing a broad perspective on different recruiting environments and methodologies.
  • Experience recruiting for high-volume nonexempt roles and technical engineering positions such as production, manufacturing, test, mechanical, electrical, systems, and propulsion.
  • Previous experience sourcing for highly technical and niche roles, demonstrating creativity and persistence in talent identification.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, supporting high-performing teams and managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
Work Environment

This role operates in a dynamic, fast-paced recruiting environment that supports global teams, including those based in New Zealand. You will primarily work Sunday through Thursday, with a start time between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., and you are not expected to be in the office on Sundays. The position involves frequent use of the Greenhouse applicant tracking system and other standard recruiting tools to manage candidates, generate reports, and analyze metrics. You will collaborate closely with high-performing teams focused on aviation and technical disciplines, often coordinating across different time zones. The environment values teamwork, clear communication, and flexibility, including the ability to work late when needed to support international hiring demands. Attire expectations are consistent with a professional office setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $52.88/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
