Job Title: Material Handler - Water Spider

Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic Warehouse Logistics Specialists to efficiently manage the loading, unloading, and movement of inventory and materials within our warehouse and storage facilities. This position involves using a variety of equipment, such as forklifts, stock pickers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to ensure the smooth operation of logistics processes.

Responsibilities

  • Complete inventory of parts using an MRP system to track information.
  • Load and unload ocean containers and trucks using a crowbar, claw hammer, and/or other hand tools.
  • Pick and stage inventory against sales orders, work orders, and material requisitions.
  • Manage manual and clerical tasks related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Maintain stockroom in an orderly and organized fashion.
  • Perform data entry as needed.
  • Process incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Prepare and package spares and machine orders for shipping and special assignments as required.
  • Assist in the machine shop with deburring and sanding parts during the second half of the day.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in inventory management and cycle counts.
  • Experience in shipping and receiving.
  • Order picking and packing skills.
  • Material handling experience.
  • Forklift operation expertise.
  • Proficient data entry skills.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of related inventory experience with generating proper documentation.
  • PC literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Drivers License.
  • Experience in deburring.
  • Order picking experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
