Inventory Control & Receiving Specialist Irving, TX
Picture your day: you step into a clean, organized warehouse in Irving, TX, log into the WMS, grab your RF scanner, and set the pace for accuracy and flow. You’ll balance hands-on material handling with detailed inventory workkeeping counts precise and freight moving.
What your day looks like
- Kick off with cycle counts and inventory audits to validate stock levels.
- Monitor inventory in the WMS, report discrepancies, and resolve variances you uncover.
- Organize inventory records in the WMS and coordinate transfers across departments or locations.
- Track damaged, missing, or obsolete stock and escalate issues as needed.
- Support inbound: receive, unload trucks, verify quantities and products, and inspect for damages.
- Break down and stage freight, execute put-away, and handle labeling, tagging, and consolidating.
- Pitch in across the warehouse wherever help is needed.

What you bring
- Hands-on warehouse experience with a focus on inventory management & control.
- Confidence with loading and unloading vehicles.
- Comfort with basic computer skills and WMS navigation.
- Proven experience with cycle counts and forklifts.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Safety gear
- Steel-toe boots/shoes are required.
- Safety vest must be worn at all times while working.
