Mechanical Design Engineer

We are a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering firm seeking an entry-level to experienced Mechanical Designer/Engineer to join our team. Our projects include a wide variety of facility types; Medical, office, retail, restaurants, multi-family, religious, education, and industrial. We are a close knit small firm but we operate in 35+ states.

Our compensation and benefits are extremely competitive within the industry. After initial period of working in the office, partial remote working may be an acceptable option depending on the level of performance of the individual. Compensation determined by experience and skills. Urgent need. Relocation expenses considered. Signing bonus considered.

Job Responsibilities:

• General knowledge of MEP systems
• HVAC load calculations (we use Carrier HAP)
• Equipment sizing, selections, schedules
• Ductwork and piping layouts including sizing notations, etc.
• Coordination with other in-house trades as well as Owners, Architects, and Structural Engineers
• Plan review comments
• Shop drawing review

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Mechanical Designer
• Must be proficient in:
• • REVIT
  • AutoCAD
  • Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Work, Excel)
  • COMcheck
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines.
• FE and PE registration is not required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
