Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Starting pay: $13–$15 per hour, based on experience

Service area: Olive Branch, MS, 38654 and surrounding communities

Schedule: Day and evening shifts; Monday–Friday options; rotating or as-needed weekends

Help at Home is seeking compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home care and support to clients. We offer flexible scheduling, professional development opportunities, and mileage reimbursement for eligible travel.

About the Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide hands-on care under RN/LPN supervision and a written plan of care. You will help clients with personal care, mobility, and daily activities while supporting their safety, dignity, and independence at home and in the community.

Qualifications

• Active Mississippi CNA status with a listing on the Mississippi Nurse Aide Registry (MSDH).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto liability insurance.
• Ability to provide client transportation when assigned in the care plan.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Education and Experience

A high school diploma or GED is preferred. No previous work experience is required; active Mississippi CNA status is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, respectful hands-on care while protecting client privacy and confidentiality.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and other daily living activities.
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Support participation in community activities and provide transportation to appointments as assigned.
• Follow the written plan of care and direction from the supervising RN or LPN.
• Accurately document care and observations each shift in a timely and complete manner.
• Collaborate with the supervising nurse and local office team to maintain quality care and continuity of services.
