Position Summary

Quantum Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Indirect Loan Processor to join our lending team in Wichita, Kansas.

The Indirect Loan Processor is responsible for the accurate and timely processing, documentation, and funding of indirect consumer loans submitted through the Credit Union's dealer network. This position works closely with dealerships, lending staff, and other Credit Union departments to ensure loan packages are complete, properly documented, and funded in accordance with Credit Union policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

This position plays an important role in providing a high level of service to our dealer partners while helping protect the Credit Union from operational, compliance, and documentation risk.

Job Duties
  • Review approved indirect loan applications and dealer funding packages for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with credit union requirements.
  • Verify loan terms, interest rates, amount financed, collateral information, borrower information, and other documentation against the approved loan decision.
  • Review purchase agreements, retail installment contracts, title, insurance, membership forms, income verification, identification and other required loan documents.
  • Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent documentation and communicate with dealerships to obtain corrections or additional information.
  • Ensure all approval conditions and underwriting stipulations have been satisfied before funding.
  • Prepare, review, and finalize loan documentation within the credit union's core processing and lending systems.

  • Fund completed indirect loans accurately and within established service expectations.

  • Communicate professionally and promptly with dealership finance personnel regarding loan status, documentation requirements, funding questions, and corrections.
  • Scan and maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with credit union record-retention requirements.
  • Follow credit union lending policies, procedures, internal controls, and applicable consumer lending regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Loan processing, loan underwriting, or dealership experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in organization and attention to detail.
  • Present a positive image of the Credit Union by being professional and courteous.
