MAINTENANCE FLOOR TECH.
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dependableMaintenance Floor Technicianfor a company based in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build your skills in facility maintenance while supporting daily operations and helping keep a professional work environment safe, clean, and fully functional.
Pay Rate
$15:00 and up
Based on experience
Schedule and Hours
7:00PM –3:30AM
Must be able to be scheduled any day of the week (including weekends)
Maintenance FloorDuties and Responsibilities
• Perform routine floor maintenance, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors.
•Clean and maintain floors, hallways, common areas, and other assigned facility spaces.
•Operate floor-care equipment such as buffers, auto scrubbers, floor machines, and wet/dry vacuums safely.
•Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies while maintaining safety standards.
•Inspect assigned areas, identify maintenance or cleanliness concerns, and report issues requiring additional repair or attention.
Maintenance FloorQualifications and Requirements
•Previous floor care or commercial cleaning experience.
•Familiarity with stripping, waxing, buffing, polishing, and maintaining various types of flooring.
•Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
•Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50–60 pounds and safely operate floor-care equipment.
•Ability to follow infection-control, chemical-handling, and workplace safety procedures while maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
