Potential Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems, including flat roofs, sloped roofs, and other types of roofing materials.
- Fabricate and install architectural sheet metal, including roofing, siding & related sheet metal flashing.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
- Perform various carpentry tasks.
- Operate trucks, cranes and other equipment.
- Conduct inspections of roofs to identify issues or areas needing repair or replacement.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Assist in heavy lifting and movement of materials as required during roofing projects.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing and sheet metal tasks.
- Strong skills in frame carpentry.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for project execution.
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical stamina to perform demanding tasks.
- Knowledge of various roofing systems and materials is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Year round work
Job Requirements:
- Regularly lifting and carrying roofing materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Climbing and working safely on ladders, scaffolding, and roofs at various heights and pitches.
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and wind.
- Safely using hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment.
