Chesterton Manor is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Chesterton, IN. This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled clinician who enjoys helping residents improve strength, mobility, balance, and independence while providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive environment.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist

• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to improve residents' strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence

• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes or concerns to the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team

• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and strategies to support continued progress

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all clinical, facility, and regulatory standards

• Collaborate with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary teams to support positive resident outcomes

Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Indiana

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Current BLS certification

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the rehabilitation team
