Job Description
Lone Star Staffing is hiring detail-oriented and thorough Quality Control Specialists to join our distribution center team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming and outgoing inventory, auditing picked orders, and ensuring all product, packaging, and safety standards are strictly met before shipment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough audits of selected orders to verify item accuracy, quantities, and product quality
- Inspect products and packaging for defects, expiration dates, or shipping damage
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse systems to log audit results and report inventory discrepancies
- Partner with order selection and shipping teams to resolve quality issues promptly
- Ensure all items comply with company quality standards and client specifications
- Maintain detailed records of daily inspections, errors, and corrective actions taken
Schedule:
- 3rd Shift: Overnight hours (Weekend availability may be required)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in quality control, inventory auditing, or warehouse operations preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and strong basic math skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods during the shift
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation and consistent, punctual attendance
