Dispatch Clerk

Pay Rate: $19.00–$21.00 per hour
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and organized Dispatch Clerk to join our team. The Dispatch Clerk will help coordinate the movement of goods, vehicles, and/or workers by scheduling transportation, tracking drivers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting daily dispatch operations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule transportation, deliveries, pickups, or assignments.
• Track drivers, vehicles, shipments, and scheduled activities.
• Maintain accurate dispatch and transportation records.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams regarding schedules and updates.
• Monitor schedules and make adjustments as needed.
• Ensure dispatch information is entered and maintained accurately.
• Assist with resolving scheduling or transportation issues.
• Follow established procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide administrative support to the dispatch team as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous dispatch, logistics, transportation, administrative, or customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working with computers and maintaining records.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.

Schedule & Availability

• Sunday through Thursday
• 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Must be available to work overtime as needed
• Must be available to work occasional Fridays

Compensation

$19.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
