FOOD SERVICE COOK
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an experiencedFood Service Cookfor a healthcare facility based in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to prepare quality meals that support the nutritional needs and well-being of patients while also serving staff and visitors in a professional healthcare environment.

Pay Rate
$14.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Full-timeassistants must be available to work shifts starting as early as 5:30AM.

Part-timeassistants must be available to work 3:00PM- 7:30PM

Both Full/Part-timeAssistants must be available to work any day of the week including weekend and holidays.

Food Service CookDuties and Responsibilities
•Prepare hot and cold food items following written recipes for meal services, special functions, and catering events.
•Cook and handle specialized foods for modified patient diets
•Maintain a clean workstation and follow safe food handling techniques, complying with federal, state, JCAHO, and regulatory standards.
•Coordinate professionally with hospital staff while properly identifying patients and maintaining strict confidentiality.

Food Service CookQualifications and Requirements
•Coordinate professionally with hospital staff while properly identifying patients and maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
•ServSafecertification preferred.
•Ability to read and follow written recipes, operate kitchen equipment, and solve problems independently with strong customer service skills.
