Location:Cleveland, OH44130 (BrookparkRoad – Bus Friendly!)
Shift:Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
Pay Rate:$15/hrto start, eligible for raise once hired on – Temp to Hire after ~ 90 days
Job Summary:
Seeking a dependable and detail-oriented employee to serve as a Racker in the metal finishing industry at an established Clevland business.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and hanging metal parts on racks for plating or coating processes, ensuring proper placement for optimal finish quality. This is a hands-on position in amoderatelyfast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hang, secure, and space metal parts on racks according to job specifications
- Inspect parts for cleanliness and defects prior to racking
- Follow written and verbal instructions related to racking configurations and coating requirements
- Monitor workflow to ensure parts are prepared and ready for processing on time
- Remove finished parts from racks after coating or plating and inspect for defects
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Communicate effectively with line leaders, quality control, and other team members
Requirements:
- Prior manufacturing or metal finishing experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs, though most parts are significantly lighter,and handling various-sized metal components
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices
- Dependable attendance andon time
