Shop Assistant

Pay:$22.00 / hour

Location:Milwaukie, OR – In person

Schedule:Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, easy-going individual to join our team as aShop Assistant. This is an entry-level position, but it requires a high level of consistency and a positive attitude.

The ideal candidate is someone who shows up on time, works well with others, and takes pride in keeping things organized. If you enjoy a steady, productive work environment, we’d love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Prep:Cleaning, cutting, and organizing rubber tubing for the assembly team.
  • Labeling & Documentation:Printing job documents and accurately placing labels on products in very precise locations.
  • Inventory Support:Picking specific parts from the warehouse needed for daily builds.
  • Shop Maintenance:Picking up and organizing the shop at the end of the day to keep the workspace safe and efficient.

What We Are Looking For

  • Recent Experience in warehouse, assembly or industrial production
  • Reliability:Excellent attendance is a must. We need someone who will be here and ready to go at 7 a.m.
  • Attitude:You should be pleasant to work with and able to transition easily between team collaboration and independent tasks.
  • Communication:Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: The ability to make precise measurements.

Ability to follow written instructions exactly.

  • Growth Mindset:You are open to receiving feedback and can implement it quickly to improve your workflow.
