About the Position:

Desktop Support Tech I (In-office position in Irvine, CA.)

It is an entry-level position providing technical support and quality assurance to our IT infrastructure.

The Tech maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.

• Job Type: Full-time
• Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. No weekends.
• Hourly Pay Range: $20-$25

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In addition to the expectation that you adhere to your department's attendance policy, duties include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Respond to IT help desk requests and/or employee phone calls, document resolution.
• Setup, troubleshoot and repair computer systems, hardware and peripherals.
• Maintain asset inventory of workstation hardware.
• Support and maintain user account information including permissions, security and distribution groups.
• Perform Active Directory and Genesys user account updates.
• Perform workstation moves/change requests.
• Assist in resolving technical issues related to the computer network and Telecom infrastructure.
• Assist with regular updates and maintenance of responsible data fields relating to User files (iSeries), Station Location files (iSeries).
• Assist with responses to telecom help desks requests.
• Create/update posts in department knowledgebase.
• Microsoft Office365: Manage email accounts and mailbox permissions, assign licensing.
• Printer and scanner setup and configuration, light troubleshooting.
