JOB TITLE: Transportation Assistant

CLASSIFICATION:Full Time, Non-Exempt

PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT:Transportation

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Manager of Fleet and Transportation

POSITION SUMMARY: Asset Fleet Manager with maintaining Fleet maintenance. Safely transport and support people we serve (PWS) to various programs they are attending. Completion of all vehicle logs as required by procedure. Communicate with passengers and family members in a professional courteous manner. Gas vehicles as necessary. Complete all required paperwork. Communicate vehicle concerns in order to quickly and safely get resolved. Transport individuals to appropriate programs in a safe and timely manner as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education, Training & Experience:
Valid NYS driver’s license with a record that meets agency standards

Three (3) years driving experience

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to effectively communicate in a courteous and professional manner.

Ability to professionally represent oneself and Agency to staff and community

Ability and willingness to participate in and maintain all required training

Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed

SCHEDULE:

Monday-Friday 7am-4pm with a 1 hour lunch

SALARY:

$19.08 per hour

Throughout the brainstorming meetings, one theme prevailedtogetherness. While the process, funding, legislation, and even definition of what it means to serve people with disabilities has changed dramatically over the tenure of our organizations, one thing that has not changed is the commitment to togetherness. Both organizations recognize that, as people, we’re better togetherdisabilities or not, Olean or Niagara, it doesn’t matter. Togetherness works.
