Bridge Crew Member

Bryant Structures, Inc. is a heavy-highway bridge contractor located in Toano, VA. We are currently looking for team-oriented bridge crew members including form carpenters, carpenter helpers, and laborers to work on bridge projects in the New Kent and Hampton areas. We are seeking motivated, dedicated, and dependable employees to work in our family-oriented organization.

Responsibility of Bridge Form Carpenter or Carpenter Helper:

• Building and setting wood and metal gang forms for concrete pours
• Plumbing and aligning 100' long side forms for pier footers and caps
• Using hand-held power tools, hammer, wrenches, concrete saws, jackhammers, etc.
• Wearing a respirator while performing concrete demolition tasks such as jackhammering, chipping, grinding to protect against silica exposure

Prerequisite of all applicants:

• Complying with the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing ladders, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to Commute: Reliable transportation required
• Valid Driver's license required

Compensation varies with level of experience. Full-time employees are eligible to receive benefits including medical, dental, vacation, 401k retirement, and profit sharing.

Salary: $21.00 to $30.00 /hour

Overtime Pay = 1.5 times hourly rate for over 40 hours per week
