Job Overview
Christmas Lighting Co. is hiring dependable, hardworking Lighting Technicians for our upcoming holiday season. This is a well-paying seasonal position offering approximately 212 to 3 months of steady work At $20-$30 per hour.
Our technicians install professional Christmas lighting on homes and businesses throughout the Raleigh area. Because approximately 99% of the work is performed on roofs, applicants must be comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders.
Experience is helpful but not requiredwe will train the right person. Once you learn our installation process, the work is straightforward, enjoyable, and rewarding.
Responsibilities
- Install Christmas lights on roofs, gutters, rooflines, trees, and other exterior areas
- Safely climb ladders and work on residential and commercial roofs
- Load, unload, carry, and reposition ladders and lighting equipment
- Assist with service calls, maintenance, repairs, and removal of lighting
- Arrive on time and ready to work each scheduled day
- Follow all company safety procedures and take care around customers’ property
- Work efficiently as part of a professional installation crew
Requirements
- Must be comfortable working on roofs and at heights
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to and from work
- Able to safely lift and move ladders and equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work outdoors
- Able to follow directions and work well with a team
- Available for steady seasonal work lasting approximately 212 to 3 months
- Previous roofing, construction, ladder, or outdoor-work experience is a plus but not required
