Due to growth we're looking to add a Project Manager to our team! In this role you'll be accountable for full project lifecycle management- from preconstruction through closeout - on complex or high-profile projects. You'll drive strategic planning, cost and schedule performance, subcontractor procurement, and client relationships. Additionally, you'll leads cross-functional teams,mentors’ junior staff, and ensures that all aspects of project delivery align with contract commitments, operational standards, and company values.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Lead project planning and mobilization; define execution strategy and resource needs.
- Accept the project from estimating and lead the budget transfer process.
- Assist with the CPM baseline schedule, monthly updates, narratives, and delay fragments.
- Oversee coordination of the CPM schedule with field operations and procurement timelines.
- Lead subcontractor purchasing, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and bonding policies.
- Manage submittal workflows and assist in expediting material deliveries to meet schedule milestones.
- Oversee material inspections and ensure compliance with contract documents and approved submittals.
- Administer the change order process, including documentation and impact analysis.
- Prepare and submit monthly draw requests; manage billing and collections to maintain positive cash flow.
- Review and analyze weekly and monthly cost reports; implement corrective actions to maintain budget.
- Prepare and administer the “Third Point Review” and achieve agreed-upon margin goals.
- Manage all billing and payment processes with owners and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, insurance requirements, lien waivers, and reporting standards.
- Lead the S&P Quality Control Program and ensure inspection readiness and documentation.
- Participate in business development activities including client relationships, proposals, and presentations.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- B.A. or B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in managing construction projects, safety acumen, and a thorough knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment utilization, scheduling systems, productivity analysis, construction operations, and cash flow procedures is essential.
- Industrial experience preferred
