Heavy Equipment Operator

MB Underground, LLC is hiring for a Equipment Operator for our Gainesville, FL location.

Job Description:

Come join a small company that has room for you to grow. The Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating equipment in Sitework Construction. Loaders, Trackhoes, Dozers, Skid steers, Etc. This position will be responsible for the following:

• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of equipment
• Operate equipment to move product, unload product, load product on trucks, and load trucks
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all OSHA safety rules and regulations
• Assist with daily operations including, but not limited to, loading and unloading product, washing equipment, restocking shelves, washing hands, sweeping floors, etc.
• Report any maintenance issues to the Shop Supervisor or Manager
• Maintain a positive attitude and work with a team to help other operators and the Shop Supervisor work as a team to achieve common goals
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and safe for the company (including daily cleaning)
• Maintain excellent customer service to internal/external customers
• Complete all work required by production schedule and or management (safety report, safety training, etc.)
• Work overtime as needed

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred; Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Preferred, must have strong attention to detail; ability to multi-task; ability to work well with others; willingness to learn new skills; strong organizational skills; ability to follow instructions; willingness to perform tasks of equal importance; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Experience:

• Heavy equipment operation: 3 years (Preferred)
• Commercial Drivers License (CDL, Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Commercial Drivers License (CDL, Preferred)

Work Location: In person
