Speech-Language Pathologist | School-Based Evaluations Only

This position focuses on assessment, eligibility recommendations, and report writing, with no ongoing therapy caseload.

What You’ll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and reevaluations for preschool and school-age students.
- Select, administer, score, and interpret appropriate standardized assessments.
- Assess articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, and social communication as appropriate.
- Review educational, developmental, and therapy records, gather parent and teacher input, and complete observations as needed.
- Prepare clear, thorough reports that explain findings and their educational impact.
- Collaborate with school teams and participate in evaluation and eligibility meetings as needed.
- Complete evaluations and documentation within required timelines and applicable Tennessee special education requirements.
What You’ll Bring:
- A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- A current Tennessee Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- A current Tennessee Professional School Service Personnel License with the appropriate Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and report-writing skills.
- The ability to independently organize evaluations, manage deadlines, and maintain complete documentation.
- A collaborative approach and clear, respectful communication.
- Experience with school-based evaluations, preschool assessment, Tennessee special education eligibility procedures, and differential diagnosis is preferred.

Schedule and Compensation:
Pay: $65 per hour
