Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join a fast-paced, multi-specialty Operating Room team in Manhattan, Kansas.
The ideal candidate will have strong orthopedic surgical experience, including total joint replacements and sports medicine, and be proficient with Zimmer and Arthrex instrumentation. Candidates should also be comfortable scrubbing a variety of surgical specialties and working collaboratively in a high-volume surgical environment.

-> Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
- Scrub and assist surgeons during surgical procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique.
- Pull surgical cases and ensure all necessary instruments and supplies are available.
- Set up operating rooms according to procedure requirements.
- Maintain sterile fields and follow infection prevention and control standards.
- Perform room turnover and terminal cleaning following procedures.
- Assist with instrument management and processing.
- Float to Sterile Processing as needed.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and other members of the surgical team.
- Support efficient patient flow and safe surgical care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe Operating Room environment.
-> Required Qualifications
- Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC.
- Strong orthopedic surgical experience.
- Experience with total joint replacement and sports medicine procedures.
- Experience with Zimmer and Arthrex instrumentation.
- Ability to scrub multiple surgical specialties.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability.
-> Preferred Qualifications
- NBSTSA or NCCT certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a multi-specialty surgical hospital.
- Experience working across multiple surgical specialties.
- Ability to adapt quickly between different procedures and specialties throughout the day.
