Pay:$100,000-$125,000

Express Employment Professionals – North Seattle is seeking a Controller tolead day-to-day finance and accounting functions, ensure accurate and timely reporting, manage compliance obligations, and provide strategic financial insight to ownership and leadership. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who values accuracy, and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Own the full accounting function GL, AP/AR, payroll, and close while maintaining strong internal controls and clean, audit-ready financials
- Drive financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with the analytical chops to translate numbers into actionable recommendations for leadership
- Manage banking, cash flow, and treasury, and coordinate all tax compliance, audits, and external CPA relationships
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to ownership and department heads, with a hand in process improvement, systems, and operational decisions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including leadership responsibility
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting,finance, or related field or equivalent experience
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
