Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a postal services team on a long-term contract basis. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys helping customers, communicating clearly, and providing dependable day-to-day support in a fast-paced office setting. You will work alongside a larger service team while contributing to a detail-oriented and welcoming customer experience.
Responsibilities:
• Assist customers with questions, service requests, and general support needs through courteous and timely communication.
• Handle routine customer interactions with accuracy, care, and a strong focus on service quality.
• Maintain clear records of customer inquiries, updates, and follow-up actions as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent support and smooth daily operations.
• Review training materials and onboarding resources, including company-provided videos, to become familiar with processes and expectations.
• Support office coverage during scheduled business hours while managing breaks and lunch periods with flexibility.
• Help resolve customer concerns by identifying issues, providing information, and escalating more complex matters when appropriate.• Previous customer service experience in an office, call center, retail, or service-based environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented and friendly approach.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Comfortable working as part of a team in a busy customer-facing setting.
• Basic computer proficiency and confidence learning new tools or procedures.
• Dependable attendance and the flexibility to work assigned hours with a variable lunch schedule.
