Software Automation Engineer

The hiring team is looking for an Automation Engineer / Power Platform Specialist rather than a traditional software developer. The ideal candidate should have 2-3+ years of experience building and maintaining workflow automations and business process solutions using Microsoft technologies.

Required Background:

Strong experience with Microsoft Power Automate and the Power Platform.
Experience developing Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions.
Knowledge of SharePoint, workflow automation, and data integration.
Experience working with REST APIs and automation-related technologies.
Ability to gather stakeholder requirements, design automation solutions, and support implementation through deployment and maintenance.

Preferred Background:

Exposure to Python scripting and automation.
Experience with Jira and Confluence.
Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar technical field.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work across engineering and non-engineering teams.
Comfortable translating business needs into automation solutions.
Self-directed, collaborative, and focused on process improvement.

Target candidates with titles such as Automation Engineer, Power Platform Developer, Power Automate Developer, Business Process Automation Specialist, or Power BI Analyst/Developer, rather than traditional Software Engineers focused primarily on coding.
