HVAC Project Manager

Job Overview

The Project Manager (PM) leads and manages the project team, ensuring that the project is on time, within budget and within scope. The PM may oversee multiple jobs at a time. The jobs include HVAC piping and sheet metal projects up to $3,000,000. This could be new construction or retrofit. This position manages projects from award to closeout.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicates with clients and delivers project progress reports
• Collaborates with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists
• Adheres to estimates and proposals
• Obtains all necessary regulations and permits
• Plans and manages HVAC install team
• Plans and procures purchase orders for materials
• Upholds high standard for safety
• Delivers project on time, within budget and within scope
• Drives culture of ownership and accountability

Qualifications and Skills

• 2+ years project management experience
• 2+ years supervisory experience
• Experience building project schedules
• Excellent organization, oral and written communication skills
• Estimation experience a plus
• MUST have prior HVAC experience
• Must have the ability to read mechanical plans and blueprints
