A growing label manufacturer is expanding its operations in the area and adding experienced Flexographic Press Operators, Lead Operators, and Supervisor-level talent to its 1st shift team.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Flexographic Press Operator will set up and operate narrow-web flexographic printing equipment while maintaining high standards for color, registration, quality, productivity, and safety.

The operation produces a variety of pressure-sensitive labels and other flexographically printed products for customers across multiple industries.

Responsibilities include:

• Completing press setups and make-readies
• Setting up and operating flexographic label presses
• Mounting plates and preparing print stations
• Changing inks, substrates, tooling, and materials
• Maintaining proper color and registration throughout the run
• Producing high-quality pressure-sensitive labels
• Setting up and monitoring die-cutting and finishing operations
• Inspecting finished product for print and converting quality
• Troubleshooting print and press-related issues
• Performing routine preventative maintenance
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Working with production and quality teams to meet customer specifications and production goals

Candidates should have 1–2+ years of flexographic printing experience, preferably in pressure-sensitive labels, with equipment such as:

Mark Andy | Nilpeter | Bobst | Gallus | MPS | Omet | PCMC | Similar Flexographic Presses

Experience with Mark Andy presses is especially attractive, but you do not need experience on the company's exact equipment.

If you understand flexographic printing, including plates, anilox rolls, inks, substrates, registration, color, die-cutting, and basic press troubleshooting, the company is willing to train you on its equipment and processes.

Experienced Assistant Pressmen and Second Press Operators are encouraged to apply. If you've been helping run a flexo press and are ready to become a primary operator, this company offers the training and opportunity to make that move.
