Overhead Crane Operator

The Overhead Crane Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of overhead cranes to handle heavy industrial materials in a mixed work environment. This role requires precise load handling, strict adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication with site supervisors, operations managers, and safety officers to ensure smooth coordination on site.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to lift and transport heavy industrial materials
• Ensure proper load handling and secure placement according to specifications
• Adhere to all safety compliance standards and operational procedures
• Communicate clearly using hand signals and radio with team members and supervisors
• Coordinate work activities with site supervisors, operations managers, and safety officers

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in overhead crane operation
• Proficient in overhead crane operation and load capacity assessment
• Strong attention to detail ensuring safe and accurate load handling
• Effective teamwork skills to collaborate within a mixed work environment
