Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with 5–8 years of experience to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade microservices and cloud applications. In this role, you will lead development efforts, contribute to high-level architecture, and collaborate with cross-functional DevOps, QA, and Product teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Java & Microservices: Design, build, and deploy scalable Java-based applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
  • Architecture & Performance: Evaluate architectural patterns, implement modular frameworks, and optimize applications for high performance, security, and resilience.
  • Code Quality & Leadership: Conduct code reviews, enforce SOLID principles/coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
  • Event Streaming & Cloud: Integrate real-time event streaming platforms (Kafka or Azure Event Hubs) into microservices.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Partner with DevOps to oversee containerization, deployment strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 5+ years of software development experience in Java (Java 8+).
  • Core Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate, and dependency injection.
  • Microservices Architecture: Proven production experience with microservice patterns (Saga, Circuit Breaker, distributed tracing).
  • Event Streaming: Practical experience with Apache Kafka or Azure Event Hubs (pub/sub models, consumer groups, partitioning).
  • Cloud & DevOps: Experience with Microsoft Azure (AKS, Helm), Docker, Kubernetes, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Architecture: Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, NFRs, and modular architecture.
  • Communication: Excellent problem-solving skills and experience collaborating across cross-functional teams.

  • Exposure to Reactive Programming.
  • Direct experience with Azure Cloud deployments and monitoring tools.
