We are looking for an organized Administrative Assistant to support daily operations for a health services organization in Baltimore, Maryland. This Contract position is ideal for someone who is confident managing front-desk interactions, coordinating schedules, handling records, and providing responsive administrative support across multiple functions. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to keep workflows moving efficiently in a busy client-facing environment.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome clients and visitors in a courteous manner and ensure a positive front-office experience.
• Manage a high volume of administrative tasks, including document organization, record upkeep, and routine office support.
• Coordinate calendars and arrange appointments to help maintain smooth daily scheduling.
• Enter and update information accurately in internal records and tracking systems.
• Respond to phone calls, emails, and general questions from clients and other contacts in a timely manner.
• Review and confirm client insurance details to support service eligibility and documentation needs.
• Maintain and monitor the client waitlist, keeping records current and communicating updates as needed.
• Process payments, record check transactions, and assist with basic financial documentation.
• Provide support to the HR team with onboarding-related administrative tasks and complete additional office duties as assigned.• Previous experience in an administrative support or office coordination role, preferably in a client-facing environment.
• Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally while delivering strong customer service.
• Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written communication skills for effective email correspondence and general office communication.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Experience scheduling appointments and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to organize files, maintain confidentiality, and follow established administrative procedures.
