Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles, trucks, and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on fleet and tree care equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to minimize downtime
- Repair and maintain chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and aerial lift equipment
- Maintain accurate service records and maintenance logs
- Order and manage parts and shop inventory as needed
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and compliance standards
Requirements:- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with heavy equipment or fleet vehicles
- Ability to diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines
- Experience with hydraulic systems is a strong plus
- Familiarity with tree care or landscaping equipment preferred
- Must have own basic hand tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus
