Join a dynamic team as an Inventory Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in supporting shop operations by managing the flow of raw materials, parts, and hardware. You will ensure that all materials are stored and issued accurately, contributing to the organization's overall efficiency and success.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, store, and issue raw materials, parts, details, and hardware to support shop operations.
  • Store parts and materials in bins, drawers, and racks, and identify part and stored location.
  • Maintain strict material handling practices in accordance with procedures.
  • Perform picking function to make up necessary kits of parts, material, and hardware, ensuring all parts are available and accounted for.
  • Verify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checking for damage, correct part numbers, quantity, and revisions.
  • Issue material against approved paperwork, affixing verification and traceability on required serialized parts before issuing.
  • Abide by all procedures, desk instructions, and standard operating documents.
  • Monitor shelf-life storage and maintain proper rotation of stock.
  • Support the organization's metric goals and objectives.
  • Perform good housekeeping chores in the area.
  • Perform cycle counts and validate lot trace.
Essential Skills
  • 1+ years of inventory control experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate

Work Environment

Work in a production/manufacturing environment at a location specializing in the manufacture of composite overwrapped pressure vessels for high-profile projects. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, providing a structured and consistent work routine.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westminster, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
