Location: Southwest Houston

Pay: $28-$29 per hour

Type: Contract

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced, results-driven Full-Cycle High-Volume Recruiter to join their team. This position is responsible for managing the recruitment process from initial candidate sourcing through offer acceptance and onboarding. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable spending significant time on the phone, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.

The Recruiter will manage 25+ open requisitions simultaneously and recruit talent nationwide across multiple functions and locations. Success in this role requires strong sourcing skills, excellent communication, the ability to prioritize competing demands, and a proven ability to move candidates efficiently through the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, presenting candidates, coordinating interviews, extending offers, and assisting with onboarding.
  • Manage 25+ open requisitions simultaneously, maintaining accurate and timely status updates throughout the recruiting process.
  • Recruit candidates nationwide across multiple locations, departments, and levels.
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies using job boards, ATS/CRM systems, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, networking, and other recruiting resources.
  • Conduct a high volume of phone screens and candidate outreach; must be comfortable making frequent outbound calls and speaking with candidates throughout the day.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and anticipated openings.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand position requirements, establish recruiting priorities, and provide regular updates on candidate pipelines.
  • Conduct thorough candidate interviews and assess qualifications, experience, skills, and overall alignment with position requirements.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
  • Manage candidate communication and follow-up in a timely and professional manner.
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and facilitate feedback throughout the interview process.
  • Extend offers and assist with offer negotiations and pre-employment requirements.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information in the ATS.
  • Track recruiting activity, pipeline metrics, time-to-fill, and other recruiting KPIs.
  • Proactively identify recruiting challenges and adjust sourcing strategies to meet hiring goals.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of labor markets and recruiting trends across multiple geographic regions.
  • Ensure recruiting practices are consistent with company policies and applicable employment laws.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Proven experience managing 25+ requisitions at one time.
  • Experience recruiting for positions across multiple geographic locations, preferably nationwide recruiting experience.
  • Strong sourcing and candidate-development skills.
  • Must be comfortable and confident on the phone and conducting a high volume of candidate calls.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment abilities.
  • Highly organized with excellent time-management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively partnering with hiring managers and internal teams.
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruiting tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet aggressive recruiting deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Professional, energetic, and service-oriented approach to candidate and hiring-manager relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in staffing, construction, skilled trades, professional services, manufacturing, logistics, or other high-volume recruiting environments.
  • Experience recruiting for multiple states and/or nationwide organizations.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and major online job boards.
  • Experience with recruiting metrics and performance goals.
