Production Shift Supervisor, PVC Atkore | Dallas, TX | Full-Time | On-Site | Night Shift 7PM-7AM (2-2-3 schedule)
Compensation: $65,040-$89,430 (good-faith estimate; placement depends on experience, qualifications, and shift). Other compensation may include overtime, shift differentials, and bonuses. About the Role
Atkore, a Great Place to Work certified company and a leading provider of electrical, safety, and infrastructure solutions, is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor for its Dallas manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will supervise production associates and processes for PVC pipe manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead your team using the Atkore Business System and Lean Daily Management, and use Lean tools on improvement projects for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity
· Improve team engagement, alignment, and performance, and maintain a positive team atmosphere through regular meetings and task assignments
· Crosstrain team members and coach them on problem-solving and root cause analysis
· Control and optimize labor, materials, and equipment to meet production goals
· Ensure safety standards, production schedules, and quality specifications are met
· Manage vacation schedules and overtime

Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's preferred)
· 1-3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
· Plastic pipe/conduit extrusion experience strongly preferred (PVC)
· Learn or continuous improvement background (WCM, GMP, etc.)
· Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
· High energy, strong work ethic, and flexibility to work additional hours as needed
· Ability to thrive in a problem-solving environment
What Success Looks Like
· 3 months: Complete the Atkore Immersion Program, supervise your team independently, and run daily production reports and KPI board reviews
· 6 months: Own the shift's Lean Daily Management, join a Kaizen event, lead team training, and partner with Safety, Quality, and HR on investigations and corrective actions
· 12 months: Lead an efficient team that meets or exceeds Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals, own improvement tracking, and drive Lean transformation for your shift
