Labor and Delivery RN

Duties:

· Providing direct nursing care for patients of the Women and Family Center including women in labor, post-delivery, post-surgical, newborn nursery, special care nursery, and pediatrics.

· Completing physical and psychosocial assessments of assigned patients

· Creating/updating/individualizing Nursing Care Plans for assigned patients in collaboration with the patient and their significant others

· Implementing Nursing Care Plan

Certifications/Licenses:

· Current Iowa Registered Nurse License or compact state nursing license giving the ability to practice In Iowa.

· Current BCLS certification

· Certification in NRP required within 12 months (offered through ORHC)

· Course in basic fetal monitoring required within 12 months

Compensation: $30.00-$41.00/HR
