MS NEUROLOGICAL CENTER PLLC is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to provide welcoming, efficient front-office support and help ensure a smooth patient experience.

Position Summary

The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for greeting patients and visitors, managing check-in and check-out activities, and coordinating day-to-day front desk operations. This role serves as the first point of contact, ensuring professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality in all interactions.

The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining a calm, patient-focused demeanor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors, answer incoming calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members

  • Perform patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying demographic and insurance information

  • Schedule and confirm appointments in accordance with clinic procedures and provider availability

  • Maintain accurate front desk records and handle routine administrative tasks to support daily operations

  • Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality while managing sensitive information at the reception area

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in a customer service or administrative front desk role, preferably in a healthcare setting

  • Strong communication skills with a professional, empathetic approach to patients and families

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and remain organized in a busy environment

  • Comfort working with basic office systems and maintaining accurate records

  • Reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to providing consistent, high-quality patient service

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with patient intake, scheduling, and common front-office workflows

  • Experience handling insurance-related information or billing-adjacent processes (without requiring advanced billing duties)

  • Ability to de-escalate situations professionally and maintain a positive patient experience

  • Previous experience working in a medical office or clinical environment
