As a CNC Mill Setup / Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong setup experience, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage machining processes while maintaining tight tolerances.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC Milling machines (vertical and/or horizontal machining centers)
- Install and align fixtures, vises, and otherworkholdingdevices
- Load tooling andestablishtool offsets, speeds and feeds
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Perform program edits and adjustments as needed
- Conduct first-piece inspections and in-process checking using precision measuring tools
- Monitor machine operations andmake adjustments tomaintain quality and efficiency
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, or setup issues as they arise
Qualificationsand Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of CNCMillsetupand operationexperience
- Experience with vertical and/or horizontal machining centers (VMC/HMC)
- Strongunderstandof tooling, fixturing and part setup
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience making program edits at the machine
- Strong inspection skills using micrometers, calipers and gauges

The base salary for this position isup to$30per hourexcluding benefits, bonuses or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
