Job Requisition: Project Manager
Location: Washington D.C
Customer: U.S. Capitol Police

The Project Manager provides IT project management support for up to 10 projects of varying size and complexity. Responsibilities include:

  • Working with USCP OIS staff to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Assisting in defining project scope and objectives with stakeholders.

  • Preparing and maintaining project documentation (e.g., plans, requirements, communications, agendas).

  • Identifying and tracking risks/issues to resolution.

  • Managing approved changes to scope, schedule, and costs.

  • Reporting project status to management, staff, and stakeholders.

  • Applying project management methodologies (Agile, Kanban, or Waterfall) as appropriate.

  • Monitoring project performance using standard tools (e.g., MS Project, Teams (Planner / Planner Premium), SharePoint, ServiceNow, and/or another notable PPM Dashboard experience.

  • Supporting PMO activities by coordinating with groups on internal reviews and tracking completion of findings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing IT projects of varying size and complexity, including enterprise-level initiatives.

Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (required).

  • Agile certification (required) such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
