Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support a growing manufacturing company in Albuquerque during an acquisition and integration. This individual will be responsible for managing daily accounting processes, maintaining accurate books and records, following up on outstanding accounting items, generating timely financial reports, and completing the month-end close process for the remainder of 2026. The ideal candidate will have general accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in an on-site environment. Manufacturing, inventory, and cost accounting experience is a plus. This position is a permanent opportunity.

• Experience in general accounting with a solid understanding of core accounting principles.
• Hands-on ability to prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Familiarity with corporate tax, sales tax, or corporate tax return support activities.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Capacity to manage responsibilities independently in an on-site work setting.
• Prior experience in manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Exposure to inventory accounting or cost accounting is a plus.
