Position Overview
We are seeking an
Electrical Engineer with 3+ years of experience in
MEP/building electrical design to join our team in
Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing electrical systems and be proficient with
Revit and AutoCAD in a multidisciplinary A&E environment.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems from concept through construction documents.
- Perform electrical load calculations and equipment sizing.
- Design power distribution, lighting, low voltage, and fire alarm systems.
- Develop electrical plans, one-lines, schedules, and construction documents.
- Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural disciplines.
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals.
- Ensure designs comply with NEC and applicable building codes.
- Participate in project coordination and client meetings.
- Work with senior engineers and designers to deliver quality project documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of electrical engineering/design experience in an A&E/MEP environment.
- Experience with building electrical systems design.
- Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience with power distribution, lighting, and electrical calculations.
- Working knowledge of NEC and building codes.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- EIT preferred, but not required.
