What You’ll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you will:

• Provide supervision and support to individuals according to their Person-Centered Support Plans.
• Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, toileting, and other needs as appropriate.
• Support individuals in developing skills that promote greater independence.
• Administer medications as needed and in accordance with program requirements.
• Provide transportation to individuals as required.
• Assist individuals in participating in community activities and accessing community resources.
• Provide support with medical appointments and other essential community-based services.
• Work collaboratively with clinical and program staff to implement residential interventions and support individual goals.
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive residential environment. [Direct Sup...on (Final) | Word]

QualificationsRequired

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Basic computer and internet skills
• Ability to use email, timekeeping systems, and other required programs
• Ability to successfully complete applicable employment screenings and clearances [Direct Sup...on (Final) | Word]

Preferred

• Associate or bachelor’s degree
• Previous experience in human services, behavioral health, intellectual/developmental disabilities, residential services, or direct care [Direct Sup...on (Final) | Word]

Schedule

We are currently hiring for Part-Time 2nd and 3rd Shift DSPs:

• 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• 3rd Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Part-Time
• $16.50/hour

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, and pull as required
• Ability to occasionally exert up to 50 pounds of force
