Production Associate- 1st Shift L2

This role focuses on processing and repairing returned products in a fast-paced production environment. You handle incoming items, perform basic tear-down and troubleshooting, document findings in computer systems, clean and visually inspect products, and repackage them according to provided visual aids. You work with inventory and production tracking tools and collaborate in small teams to meet production quotas while maintaining high quality standards.

• Handle and process products that have been returned for repair in the L2 Building Lab.
• Scan products using RF scan guns to track items and manage inventory accurately.
• Perform basic tear down of electronic products using hand tools, mainly screwdrivers.
• Complete basic troubleshooting tasks on products as directed by visual aids and procedures.
• Enter product and repair information into computer systems for documentation and tracking.
• Clean products thoroughly and prepare them for repackaging after repair or inspection.
• Repackage products according to visual aids and established guidelines.
• Follow visual aids (VAs) that change depending on the specific product being worked on.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify damages or defects on products.
• Work in small teams to meet production quotas and support overall workflow.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced general production and general labor environment.
• Lift items weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the shift as needed.
• Remain on your feet for 8–10 hours per shift while performing production tasks.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and operational procedures in the lab and production area.

• Ability to use hand tools, primarily screwdrivers, for basic tear down and repair tasks.
• Strong attention to detail to identify damages and ensure accurate visual inspection of products.
• Comfort using a computer for documentation and data entry.
• Comfort using RF scan guns to scan products and manage inventory.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand and remain on your feet for 8–10 hours in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willingness to work in small teams and collaborate to meet production quotas.
• Ability to work in a general production and general labor environment with electronic products.

• Experience working with electronics or in an electronics repair environment is beneficial.
• Experience in general production, troubleshooting, or general labor roles is an advantage.
• Comfort working with visual aids and following detailed step-by-step instructions.
• Ability to adapt to changing tasks and product types as visual aids and processes vary.

This role is based in a production and lab setting handling electronic products. The first shift L2 schedule runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and a second shift L2 option runs Tuesday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. You work in a fast-paced environment that requires standing for most of the shift and lifting up to 50 lbs. The work involves using computers, RF scan guns, hand tools such as screwdrivers, and following visual aids to complete tasks. The setting is team-oriented, with small groups collaborating to meet production quotas while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This is a Contract position based out of Edwardsville, IL.

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $17.25/hr.
