ARCHITECT – DESIGN-BUILD

A well-established commercial design-build company in Southeast Wisconsin** is seeking an Architect to join its team.

This is an opportunity for an architect who wants to be involved in the entire building processfrom the initial owner conversation through design, construction, and completion.

The company combines architecture, preconstruction, project management, and field construction under one organization, creating a collaborative environment focused on delivering successful projects for the owner.

THE ROLE

The Architect will work closely with owners, estimators, project managers, superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to:

• Develop creative, practical, and buildable designs.
• Work with preconstruction and estimating to align design with budget.
• Visit jobsites and incorporate real-world conditions into design decisions.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, and consultant work.
• Develop clear and coordinated construction documents.
• Participate in meetings, RFIs, submittals, and construction coordination.
• Help resolve design and field conditions as projects move forward.
• Stay involved from concept through construction and completion.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• Wisconsin architectural license or ability to obtain one.
• Commercial, industrial, institutional, or similar experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction, building systems, and detailing.
• Experience with construction documents and consultant coordination.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working around active construction sites.
• Genuine interest in both design and construction.
