Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

The General Production Worker will custom fabricate stainless steel attachments and adapters tailored to specific customer requirements. In this role, you will rotate through multiple workstations on the shop floor, learning and performing the steps needed to complete assigned production projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom stainless steel attachments and adapters according to customer specifications and project requirements.
• Operate a variety of production and manufacturing machines safely and efficiently.
• Move between several workstations to perform all tasks required to complete assigned projects.
• Measure materials and finished parts using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
• Perform quality inspections on parts and assemblies to verify they meet standards and customer expectations.
• Follow production instructions and job travelers to complete projects from start to finish with minimal errors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area across the open shop floor.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow and meet production schedules.
• Identify and report any equipment issues, defects, or quality concerns to appropriate personnel.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of machine operating experience is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience is required.
• Proficiency in operating production and manufacturing machinery.
• Strong measuring skills using tape measures and calipers.
• Comfort with general labor tasks in a production environment.
• Ability to work across multiple workstations and adapt to different tasks.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Reliability in maintaining consistent attendance during scheduled hours.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with stainless steel fabrication or metalworking is a plus.
• Previous work in a small manufacturing or production shop environment is beneficial.
• Capability to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion.
• Willingness to learn new workstations and processes as needed.
• Good communication skills for coordinating tasks with team members.

Work Environment

The facility features an open-concept layout, and you will work throughout the shop floor to complete your assigned jobs, moving between different workstations as needed. Standard hours are 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with no work on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, offering a stable four-day workweek. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toed shoes or boots, and a t-shirt, reflecting a practical, hands-on production environment with active use of manufacturing machines, measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers, and equipment for inspection and general labor task

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holmen, WI.

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Holmen,WI.
