Job Description

The primary responsibilities for this position include general laborer duties such as digging ditches, laying out matting and material, and as breaking down gravel. Additional duties may involve shoveling, moving materials, laying pipe, and assisting equipment operators.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and secure matting.
• Break down gravel as required.
• Shovel and move materials efficiently.
• Lay pipe and assist with pipe work.
• Aid equipment operators as needed.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year experience in manual labor.
• At least 1 year of experience on construction projects.
• Proficiency with hand tools and general construction labor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with underground utilities or pipe work is advantageous.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Experience with basic hand tools is preferred.

Work Environment

This position is based on a construction job site focusing on dirt work for a residential neighborhood in Pleasant View. The schedule includes work from Monday to Friday, with the possibility of Saturday work if weather conditions affect weekday schedules. The primary worksite is in Pleasant View, TN, with potential relocation to other sites north of Nashville after project completion.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pleasant View, TN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
