Private Event Chef

Chef Adair, a renowned culinary team in Cotati, CA, is looking for a Seasoned Chef to join us on a part-time, on-call basis. As a key member of our team, you'll bring your expertise to private dinner parties and events, delighting guests with your culinary artistry and engaging personality. Here’s what you can expect:

• Prepare and plate high-end cuisine with precision and creativity.
• Interact with guests, sharing cooking tips and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
• Work closely with servers to ensure seamless service.
• Travel to client locations (drive time is paid) and adapt to various kitchen environments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace at all times.

We’re seeking a chef who embodies professionalism, passion, and reliability. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• 10 years of experience in high-end dining and restaurants (catering experience is a plus).
• A culinary degree is a bonus, but a deep love for cuisine is essential.
• A food handler’s certificate and a good DMV record.
• A reliable vehicle for travel to events (paid drive time included).
• Excellent plating skills and a keen eye for detail.
• A professional, well-groomed appearance and friendly demeanor.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests.
• The ability to work quickly, cleanly, and safely under pressure.
• A team-oriented spirit and willingness to collaborate with servers.
• Willingness to occasionally travel up to 1+ hours for events.
• Basic computer skills to handle any necessary documentation or communication.
