Mover/Packer

The Mover/Packer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of clients’ belongings. Working as part of a small team of 2-4 people, this position involves packing (as needed at client's request), loading, and unloading items while taking special care of fragile possessions. Movers/Packers frequently use equipment such as dollies, straps, handheld tools, and moving blankets and interact regularly with clients to provide excellent service. Flexibility in schedule, including weekend availability, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Wrap items securely for transport.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
• Handle furniture and fragile items with care.
• Manage inventory to ensure all items are accounted for.
• Maintain regular customer interaction to address concerns and provide support.
• Collaborate with team members to complete moves promptly.
• Use equipment such as dollies, handheld tools, moving blankets, and straps.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in moving and packing
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of professional moving/packing techniques
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely
• Strong customer service skills
