Polar Bear Pool Care is a fast-growing residential and commercial pool service company serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area. We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Pool Service Technician who takes pride in doing the job right.

This is a full-time, year-round position primarily responsible for maintaining residential and commercial swimming pools. You'll work independently in the field while being supported by an experienced team.

Pool experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn. What You'll Do

• Perform scheduled residential and commercial pool service
• Test and properly balance pool water chemistry
• Brush, skim, vacuum, and maintain pools as required
• Empty skimmer and pump baskets
• Inspect pumps, filters, valves, heaters, and other pool equipment
• Identify equipment problems and report needed repairs
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs when appropriate
• Clean and maintain pool filters
• Keep your assigned company vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Accurately document completed service and communicate issues to management
• Provide professional customer service when interacting with homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients

What We're Looking For

• Dependable and able to consistently show up on time
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently
• Able to work outdoors year-round, including Texas summer heat
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic hand tools
• Willing and able to learn pool chemistry, equipment, and troubleshooting
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following is helpful but not required:

• Swimming pool service or maintenance
• Commercial pool maintenance
• Pool equipment repair
• Plumbing
• Mechanical or equipment maintenance
• Route-based service work
• CPO certification
