Full Job Description
Joliet Staffing is hiring reliable and analytical IC Hub Associates (Inventory Control) to join our fast-paced warehouse operations team. In this role, you will work in the Inventory Control Hub, tracking stock levels, resolving inventory discrepancies, processing returns or transfers, and ensuring high levels of stock accuracy across the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and stock reconciliations in the IC Hub
- Investigate, locate, and correct inventory discrepancies, short-ships, and damaged items
- Utilize RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory movements
- Process inventory adjustments, transfers, and system updates in real time
- Collaborate with selection, receiving, and shipping departments to maintain inventory accuracy
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized inventory storage areas while strictly following company safety standards
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: Afternoon / Evening hours (Weekend availability may be required)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in inventory control, cycle counting, IC hub operations, or warehouse auditing preferred
- Familiarity with RF scanners and basic Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Strong basic math skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Dependable work ethic with reliable transportation and punctual attendance
