Westside Medical Supply is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position for someone who is technically inclined, mechanically minded, dependable, and eager to learn.

Our technicians install, service, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of durable medical, rehab and home accessibility equipment in customers' homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations.

What You'll Do

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair DME, rehabilitation and home accessibility equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and technical equipment to complete installations and repairs.
• Diagnose problems and determine effective solutions.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to customers in their homes and facilities.
• Work closely with other technicians and team members to complete jobs safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate job needs, parts, and follow-up requirements.
• Maintain and care for company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in cross-training and learn the various areas of the Technician department.

• Takes initiative and is willing to learn new skills and equipment.
• Has a problem-solving, "figure it out" mindset and knows when to ask for help.
• Works well independently but is also a strong team player.
• Is dependable, professional, and takes pride in their work.
• Is willing to learn all aspects of the Technician role to support cross-training and team development.
• Has a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Has a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Has previous experience with hand tools and power tools. Construction, mechanical, electrical, maintenance, or related experience is a plus.

Experience in medical equipment or home accessibility is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person who has the right attitude, aptitude, and willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position requiring frequent lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and working indoors and outdoors. Technicians regularly travel to customer homes, healthcare facilities, and job sites.
